Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war period- (ie. This is an attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern, rounded styled and neatly 'cyphered') NCO-type shoulderstraps as was piped in the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for (and clearly used by!) an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Sanitäts-Abteilungs des 5. Infanterie-Division' (or: sergeant first-clas ie. medical-orderly) who served within a: 'Heeres Sanitäts-Abteilung' that was part of of the 5th infantry-division and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which are approximately 12,2 cms. sized in length and which are of the 'standard-issued'-pattern - have the 'standard-type'- and/or: darker-green-coloured- and/or 'smooth-woolen'-based 'upperdecks' and have (as to be expected) the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which come mounted onto their functional tongues attached - show as stated above only moderate usage and/or wear (some minor wear, staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). The straps show the (standard-pattern) silver-coloured (ie. somewhat shiny) NCO-braid attached and show a matching pair of silver-toned- (regular-sized- and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based) '5'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') and two sets of (also matching and/or aluminium-based) pips, period-attached. This particular pair - which is as stated above completely matching - originated from an older cloth- and/or shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. Simply an attractive shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Sanitäts-Abteilungs des 5. Inf.-Div.'!
