Attractive - clearly worn- albeit fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant eines Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Abteilungs'

This is an attractive - clearly used and/or worn but fully matching! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant eines Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Abteilungs' (or: junior-officer ie. lieutnant who served within a tank- or an anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyer unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (and clearly used- ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderboards - which are actually not that easily encountered and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce' - are constructed in the smooth-type (ie. 'moleskin'-like) wool and are per regulation piped in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour. The boards - which have a length of approximately 11 cms. each - come mounted onto their period, smaller-sized tongues: both boards still show some stitching-holes ie. remains (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - that never had any pips nor cyphers ie. 'Ziffern' attached - have the 'silver-greyish'-coloured (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-) 'upperdecks' (something that - I deem - clearly identifies them as 'front-used' pair). The boards show moderate age, wear and/or staining and one of the boards is somewhat damaged on its top (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards originate from a private-household in Germany and were never before part of a collection. It came together with the equally worn and used Pz-breast-eagle that I offer under number: 58626: all three insignia-pieces were used by the same 'Leutnant' who wore these and stored them as such for decades. Simply an attractive - and desirable! - WH officers'-pattern shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant eines Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Abteilungs'!
