This is a truly veryattractive example of the actually scarcely encountered - and very desirable! - WH (Heeres- ie. Waffen-SS) 'Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Bronze' (or: bronze-class infantry-assault badge ie. IAB) being a neatly maker- (ie.'JFS'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem simply never worn- and/or: 'virtually mint'-), condition. The badge - which is quite 'vaulted' ie. 'converse' as always - is a typical example as was produced by the: 'Josef Feix und Söhne'- (ie. 'JFS'-) company based in the town of Gablonz. The badge (which is as stated neatly maker-marked with the abbreviation ie. logo: 'JFS' on its back) has great pronounced detail and retains all of its (somewhat shiny, darker-toned- and neatly bronze-coloured-) finish. The IAB is just a bit tarnished and stained but was with certainty never cleaned nor polished. It comes naturally mounted onto its functional (and totally unaltered) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive bronze-class IAB that will be impossible to be upgraded!
