Unusual and somewhat crudely 'field-made' 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) and that comes as issued and most certainly worn, condition

This is a most certainly unusual and somewhat crudely 'field-made', 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) that was constructed by using an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 2nd class) and that comes as issued- and most certainly worn, condition. The magnetic (and non-vaulted) cross shows a (period!) soldered (and silver-toned) safety-pin on its back and still shows an attractive (just minimally darkened) age-patina and retains great detail: the black-coloured 'satin-like'-core (ie. the swastika-centre) does show, however, some rust-staining (but was never cleaned nor polished). This interesting piece originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found. I deem that this neat - and fully untouched! - front-produced IC first-class is accordingly priced!
