The truly attractive - and with certainty rarely encountered! - circular-shaped badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in silver-coloured- and/or typical 'Buntmetall'-based- (and/or: partly enamelled-) metal: it shows some regular wear and/or moderate age but is totally void of any (enamel) damage or alike. The badge (having an approximate diameter of 3,2 cms.) has a functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains a vast part of its somewhat tarnished, silver-coloured finish. The 'tinnie' - which is clearly maker- (ie. 'Deschler u Sohn - München 9'-) marked on its back - depicts a couple of tents set-up in a mountain-region upon which an enamelled, so-called 'HJ-Raute' is mounted (as can be seen on the pictures). The (early-period!) piece comes as stated above mounted on its functional pin-/catch set-up and is truly a high-quality produced example. Simply an attractive - and with certainty rarely encountered - 'HJ'- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'-) related 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' issued to commemorate participation in the: 'Hochlandlager 1934'!
