This is a very attractive - fully matching and (I deem) quite early-war- ie. evt. pre-war-period! - pair of 'standard-issued'- (ie. 'non-privately-purchased'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early- ie. pre-war period- (ie. 'M36'- (ie. 'M40'-) pattern and/or: rounded-styled), neatly 'cyphered' enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Mannschaften des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 15' (or: simple soldier who served within the 15th infantry regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or typical 'smooth woolen'-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length each - show the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or (typical) woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). They never had any tongues attached and where as such intended as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern: they come both in a very nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'-): '1'- and/or '5'-cyphers (ie. numerals or 'Ziffern') attached which are executed in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair only shows moderate wear and/or age and is just nicely preserved over the years (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat EM-type, 'Infanterie'-related Heeres-shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
