This is an attractive - albeit regrettably empty! - luxuriously-styled etui as was specifically intended to store an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) as was produced by the maker: 'B.H. Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt' and that comes in an overall nicely preserved- and/or fully untouched, condition. The etui comes in a very fine and fully complete condition: the silver-rimmed cross that figures on the etui's top is in a very nice and totally undamaged condition whereas the beige-white-coloured- and velvet-like interior is also fully present and in place (it does, however, show some minimal age and/or staining and does show the clear imprint of the cross it once held as can be seen in the pictures). The etui is - as stated above - a typical example that was intended to store an IC first-class as was specifically produced by the maker 'B.H. Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt' as based in the town of Pforzheim (ie. 'Hersteller 26'). I deem that this attactive IC-etui is accordingly priced: it just needs an equally nicely preserved iron-cross to complete!
