This is an attractive - albeit clearly worn but still detailed and pronounced! - example of a so-called: WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' (or: destroyers'-war-badge) being a clearly maker-marked- (and/or: fairly 'high-quality'-produced!) example that is executed in so-called: 'Buntmetall' and that comes in overall nice- (albeit clearly issued- and/or truly worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge retains most of its golden- (ie. silver-) toned finish and is executed in so-called: 'Buntmetall' (ie. 'Tombak'): it comes of course mounted on its unaltered- and functional (flute-shaped and neatly horizontally-mounted) pin and/or catch. The with certainty 'high-quality'-produced badge (that also retains it so-called: 'Gegenhaken') shows on its back the makers'-designation: 'Schwerin - Berlin 68' and was - I deem - never cleaned nor polished: it is just a tiny bit dusty ie. dirty as recently found (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that this truly worn example is accordingly priced: a better-preserved example will fetch much more than my asking-price!
