Stunning - and very rarely encountered albeit clearly issued- and/or worn! - example of a cloth-based version of a WH (Luftwaffe) 'Deutsches Kreuz in Silber' (ie. DKiS or German Cross in silver) and that comes in an overall very nice, condition

This is a truly - and very rarely encountered albeit clearly issued- and/or worn! - example of a cloth-based version of a WH (Luftwaffe) 'Deutsches Kreuz in Silber' (ie. DKiS or German Cross in silver) that comes in an overall very nice- (and/or most certainly carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The piece - which is neatly hand-embroidered in various types of bullion - has a (fully undamaged!) bluish-grey-coloured- (ie. typical 'Luftwaffe'-type) woolen-based background, signifying that it was a piece that was awarded to a 'Luftwaffe'-soldier. The piece shows some obvious age, wear and/or staining but is totally void of any real damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). It shows a bright-silver-toned (ie. 'Buntmetall'-based) wreath as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - which is void of an inked makers'-mark (ie. logo) on its back as is more often encountered - is totally void of any 'backing' (something that is more often seen). It should be noted that these 'Deutsches Kreuze in Silber' (ie. DKiS or German Crosses in silver) in silver rank amongst the rarest examples of the series: there were only a very limited number of DkiS awarded to Luftwaffe-staffmembers making this example a truly rarely account war-badge. Simply a very attractive example of a high-class award - only second in grade to a Knights Cross or 'Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes'! - that is I deem accordingly priced!
