Very interesting - and most certainly rarely encountered! - Waffen-SS-related- and/or: December 1944-dated so-called: Christmas- (ie. 'Julfest'-) related card (that is bearing a facsimile signature of the: 'Reichsführer-SS' Heinrich Himmler)

This is a very interesting - and most certainly rarely encountered! - Waffen-SS-related- and/or: December 1944-dated so-called: Christmas- (ie. 'Julfest'-) related card (that is bearing a facsimile signature of the: 'Reichsführer-SS' Heinrich Himmler) and that comes in an overall nice, condition. The neat card - which is sized like a regular post-card and that measures 15 x 10,7 cms. - is constructed from (typical) carton-based material: it is just somewhat yellowed by age. According to the (German) text was this card specifically intended for the relatives of the various Waffen-SS-soldiers killed-in-action and wishes these a properous 1945 (as can be decucted from the card). The card originates from the US where it was brought as a 'veteran bring-back-item' in 1945: the vendor stated that this card was one of 5 similar examples that were taken from one of Himmlers HQs. The card is as stated above somewhat yellowed by age and shows (once folded) corner. I am convinced that this is a rarely seen - and very desirable! - SS- ie. Heinrich Himmler-related document ie. card that is with certainty accordingly priced!
