This is an attractive - and I deem hardly or even never used! - example of a so-called: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen 1. Klasse' (or: golden-class, loyal-service-medal for 40 yrs. of loyal civil-service) being a non-maker-marked example that comes mounted onto its original ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and that comes stored in its non-maker-marked etui as issued and/or recently found. The medal is a truly attractive piece that retains all of its period, bright-golden-coloured- and/or fairly 'frosted' finish: it also retains most (ie. all!) of its 'off-factory applied': 'hochpolierte Kanten' (or: polished sides) but is just a tiny bit stained (it has never been cleaned). It comes mounted onto its cornflower-blue-coloured ribbon which still has its period (golden-toned) attachment-pin in place as was intended for wearing the medal on a tunic. The medal has never been cleaned and has an immaculate (ie. fully undamaged!) enamelled swastika(area). The medal came stored in its original, bright-red-coloured etui that is totally void of a makers'-designation (as can be seen on the pictures). This etui is fully undamaged but does just show some minimal (handling) age and/or minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive example that will be hard to be upgraded!
