Attractive - and moderately used ie worn! - 'BeVo'-woven, EM- (ie. NCOs'-) pattern, RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') sleeve-badge (or: 'Dienststellenabzeichen') bearing the specialist- (ie. unit-) designation: 'T.S 2' (ie. 'Truppführerschule 2')

This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCOs'-) version of a so-called: RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') sleeve-badge (or: 'Dienststellen-Abzeichen') bearing the specialist- (ie. unit-) designation: 'T.S 2' (denoting membership within the 'Truppführerschule 2') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and/or worn- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. These neat badges were worn on the upper-left sleeve of the mustard-coloured (EM- ie. NCO-type-) RAD-tunics and/or garments. The badge - which shows the red-coloured 'T.S 2'-characters- ie. numerals on a white-coloured- and spade-shaped field - is neatly executed in so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-pattern and comes as clearly tunic-removed (it has been somewhat trimmed and comes in a confectioned- and minimally stained ie. worn, condition). The patch - which shows the interwoven 'Ges.Gesch.' ie. makers'-designation on its back - was (I deem) once glued into an album or scrap-book (as can be seen on the pictures). This badge originates from a smaller collection of RAD-cloth-insignia I recently acquired. It should be mentioned that there were in total only four of those 'RAD-Truppführerschulen' ie. training-institutes. I deem that this attractive - and most certainlty scarcely found! - RAD-insignia-piece is accordingly priced!
