Superb, WH (LW o. Heeres) cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Kreta' (being a wonderful- and totally non-shortened example that comes in a truly issued- ie. once tunic-attached, condition)

This is a truly attractive - and/or fully 'textbook'! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe o. Heeres) cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Kreta' (being a wonderful- and/or period-worn albeit totally non-shortened) example that comes in a most certainly issued- and just moderately worn- and - I deem - carefully tunic-removed-, condition. The cuff-title comes in an truly full-length condition (it was folded and not shortened and measures approximately 42 cms. as to be expected). The piece was (once) period-sewn-together and comes as such straightly from a tunic (as can be seen on the pictures). The cuff-title just shows some minimal age ie. staining caused by decades of storage and handling over the years: moreover, was it minimally used ie. once tunic-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be stated that these 'Kreta'-cuff-titles are not to be regarded as commemorative cuff-titles (such as the 'Afrikakorps'-cuff-title) but were regarded as official awards that needed official recognition (and entries in both 'Soldbuch' and/or 'Wehrpass'). This example was recently found at a German private-household and was truly never before in collectors'-hands. Simply a very attractive and naturally genuine, period example that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is priced according to its moderately worn- ie. used condition!
