Superb, tombak- (ie. 'Buntmetall'-) based- and/or non-maker-marked example of a WH (LW) 'Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger in Silber' (or: silver-class bomber-pilots'-clasp ie. FFS) as was presumably produced by the: 'C.E. Juncker'-company

This is an attractive and/or very pronounced, typical tombak- (ie. 'Buntmetall'-) based (albeit as more often non-maker-marked) example of a WH (Luftwaffe) 'Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger in Silber' (or: silver-class bomber-pilots'-clasp ie. FFS) as was presumably produced by the: 'C.E. Juncker'-company and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat piece has extraordinary detail and retains most (ie. all!) of its period-applied- and somewhat frosted, silver-toned finish: the bluish-coloured- (and also 'Buntmetall'-based-) bomb-device (which is additionally attached to the clasp) is equally detailed and also retains most of its bluish-toned and/or minimal 'tarnished' finish. The piece is as stated a non-maker-marked example that was presumably produced by the: 'C.E. Juncker'-company (as is more often the case) that comes as stated above in an only moderately used- and/or worn condition. Is does show, however, great character and/or fine, pronounced detail. The clasp is naturally in great shape ie. order: the (silver-coloured) pin-/ie. copper-toned catch and/or single rivet are in fine (and/or undamaged nor repaired-) order. The piece comes in a great undamaged order and is of course fully functional. The clasp has never been cleaned nor polished and has a neat and/or slightly tarnished 'age-patina'. It originated from a private-household in Germany and was never before part of any collection. Simply an attractive - and not that often encountered! - silver-class Luftwaffe-award ie. FFS that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
