This is an attractive - fully matching and (I deem) quite early-period! - pair of 'standard-issued'- (ie. most certainly 'non-privately-purchased'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early- ie. pre-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled), neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Artillerie-Regiments 5' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the fifth artillery regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or typical 'smooth woolen'-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 12,2 cms. in length each - show the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or (typical) woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that show the typical (bright) silverish-toned, early- (ie. 'dotted'-) pattern NCO-braid attached - come naturally mounted onto their period-attached- (regular-shaped) tongues attached and come both in a very nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'-): '5'-cyphers ie. numerals (which are executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'roter'-) coloured wool as to be expected as can be seen on the pictures). The pair only shows moderate wear and/or age and is just nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, 'Artillerie'-related Heeres-shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
