Waffen-SS-pattern, black-coloured M43-cap-insignia (ie. 'Mützenabzeichen') depicting an: 'Edelweiss'-flower as was specifically used by the various 'Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troops-) related divisional-staff

This is a very attractive example of a Waffen-SS-pattern, black-coloured- and/or typical woolen-based M43-pattern cap-insignia (ie. 'Mützenabzeichen für Einheitsfeldmütze') depicting the famous: 'Edelweiss'-flower as was used by the various 'SS-Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troops-) related divisional-staff (such as those of the: 'Prinz Eugen'- ie. 'Skanderbeg'-SS-Divisions) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem never worn nor used- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The piece on offer here is a fully text-book example that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' condition that shows some minimal fraying on its borders. Simply a nice and 100% original Waffen-SS cap-badge that almost certainly originated from the 'Dachau'-clothing-depots!
