The attractive - albeit moderately used and/or worn! - WH (Luftwaffe) 'standard-pattern', bluish-coloured- and/or steel-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften der Luftwaffe') retains a fair bit of its bluish-coloured sprayed surface and shows a (clearly present) oval-shaped stamp on the (black-coloured) leather-based tab (as can be seen on the pictures): it is thus a typical example that was produced by the Austrian maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Brüder Schneider AG' as based in the town of Wien (ie. Vienna). The buckle - which itself is void of a makers'-mark as more often - came mounted onto its (fully) souple and of course still functional, black-coloured- and leather-based 'tab' (that is showing the makers'-designation and/or '1940'-date-stamp as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle shows some obvious age, wear and/or staining but is neverthelesss nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle - which still retains pronounced detail as to be expected - orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem that I have priced this moderately used and worn WH (Luftwaffe) belt-buckle, accordingly!
