This is an attractive example of an - I deem - early-period- and/or typical, silvered 'Buntmetall'-based-, so-called: 'Polizei'-related visor-cap eagle (ie. 'Adler für Polizei-Schirmmütze') being a (minimally tarnished) silver-coloured- and/or non-maker-marked example that was intended for usage on the various 'Polizei' (ie. police) visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem simply never used- nor cap-attached- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The detailed and multipiece-constructed cap-eagle is executed in bright-silver-coloured (ie. truly 'frosted') 'Buntmetall' and naturally retains both its (copper-toned) and fully functional prongs. The detail on the fairly 'frosted' piece is quite extraordinary: it just shows some minimal dust ie. tarnish simply caused by decades of storage only. Hard to find a more attractive, early-period example for a more interesting price!
