Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. This is an attractive - and fully matching! - pair of 'standard-issued'- (ie. 'non-privately-purchased'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled), neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel u. Mitglied der 1. Kavallerie-Division' (or: sergeant who served within the first cavalry division) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or typical 'smooth woolen'-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - show the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and/or (typical) woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that show the typical (bright) silverish-toned, 'Heeres'-pattern NCO-braid attached - come naturally mounted onto their period-attached- (regular-shaped) tongues attached and come both in a very nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows a (matching, early-pattern and aluminium-based) '1'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') and equally-styled pair of pips attached denoting the NCOs-rank of 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). The pair only shows moderate wear and/or age and is just nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, 'Kavallerie'-related shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
