The neat - and most certainly not that often seen! - 'NSRL'- (ie.: 'Nationalsocialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in (minimally tarnished) silverish-coloured- (ie. tin-based) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has been simply nicely preserved over the years. The badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains truly all of its minimally tarnished, silver-coloured finish. It shows a detailed illustration of a sportsman wearing a shirt with the NSRL-eagle-device and a view of the town of Ludwigsburg coupled with the above-mentioned text ie. dates. It should be noted that all tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- or: 'towns'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a neat - and actually not that often seen! - NSRL-related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
