This is an attractive - I deem early-period- and truly luxuriously-styled! - example of a WH (Heeres- o. Kriegsmarine) golden-bronze-toned- (and/or: typical 'Buntmetall'-based) breast-eagle (ie. 'Metallbrustadler für die Sommeruniform der Offiziere des Heeres o. Beamte der Kriegsmarine)' as was specifically intended for usage on the white-coloured, summer-tunics (ie. 'Sommerblusen') and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The (as more often unmarked) piece is a 'standard-pattern'-example that has a superb and/or detailed- (ie. typical 'Buntmetall'-like- ie. somewhat 'shiny') appearance. The piece was only moderately used and does show some age and/or staining (ie. tarnished appearance) as to be expected: it was most certainly never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece comes mounted onto its original (and naturally functional) silver-toned pin (ie. pin-set-up) and retains its additional 'third'-pin (which is not always the case) as can be seen on the pictures. Simply an attractive (officers'-pattern) 'Heeres o. Kriegsmarine'-related summer-tunic breast-eagle: hard to find a better example for a more interesting price!
