This is an attractive - and actually scarcely seen! - example of a silver-coloured- and/or typical stainless-steel- (ie. 'Edelstahl'-) based, WH (Heeres) ie. 'Panzerjäger'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Stamm/K.Pz.Jäg.Ers.Abt. 9' (and as such belonging to a soldier (or NCO ie. officer) who served within the: 'Stammkompanie' of the: 'Panzerjäger Ersatz-Abteilung 9' or: 'root'-company of the: anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyers' replacement-unit, numbered: '9'). The disc comes in an overall very nice (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn: of additional interest is the additionally added ring (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc shows the bearers'-blood-group-type ('Type B') and shows a clearly stamped bearers-numeral that reads: '5753'. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered: as stated above came it mounted with a tiny ring attached (possibly used to attach a talisman or alike). Simply an attractive and honest WH (Heeres) ie. 'Panzerjäger'-related ID-disc that belonged to a soldier serving with the: 'Stamm/K.Pz.Jäg.Ers.Abt. 9'!
