Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboards as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant der Infanterie' who served within the famous 'GrossDeutschland'-division

This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty scarcely seen! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboards as piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour that is showing a rarely observed, regular-sized and/or golden-bronze-toned 'GD'-cypher-set (and dito pips) period-attached as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant der Infanterie' (ie. infantry-lieutnant first-class) who served within the famous 'GrossDeutschland'-division and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit minimally used and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderboards - which are piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour - are executed in the (typical) 'smooth-type'-wool and never had a tongue attached: they were clearly intended for usage as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern. The boards - which are approximately 10,8 cms. sized in length - have the greyish- (ie. truly sub-dued) 'upperdecks' and show the obvious signs of having been worn ie. having been once tunic-attached. As stated above, does the pair shows a magnetic, regular-sized and/or darker-golden-bronze-toned, so-called: 'GD'-cypher-set (and regular-sized- and/or golden-toned) pip-set attached denoting the officers'-rank of: 'Oberleutnant' (ie. lieutnant first-class). Both 'cyphers' retain both their original prongs and do both retain a nice, darker-toned- and just minimally tarnished finish (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and scarcely encountered! - neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that shows lots of character and that belonged to an officer who served within a famous WH 'elite'-regiment!
