This is an attractive - and with certainty never used nor worn! - example of a WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type, so-called: 'Edelweiss'-armpatch being a nicely machine-embroidered specimen as was executed on darker-green wool as was specifically intended for usage by the: 'Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' (or: mountain-troops) throughout the war and that comes in an overal wonderful, condition. The piece came with its (period-attached!) paper-based 'inventory-etiket' (that shows a number and date that reads: '7-8-1940' - and was as such most certainly a 'Muster'-piece (or specific sales-example). The piece is (unusually!) additionally 'backed' with white-coloured 'cheese-duck' and comes in a wonderful and fully untouched condition (as can be seen on the pictures). It is just minimally stained caused by decades of storage only. Simply a very unusually seen 'Muster'-piece that is with certainty accordingly priced!
