Superb, WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) 'Krim'-campaign-shield (as was produced by the Austrian maker 'Friedrich Orth') and that comes in a presumably issued- (albeit still 'virtually mint'!), condition

This is a truly very attractive example of a WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) 'Krim'-campaign-shield as was produced by the (desirable!) Austrian maker (ie. 'Hersteller') 'Friedrich Orth' and that comes in a probably issued albeit still 'virtually mint'- (and with certainty never tunic-attached-), condition. The shield - that comes mounted onto its original, field-grey-coloured- and typical woolen-based 'backing' - comes in a truly wonderful and/or untouched condition and was with certainty never worn nor used. It comes naturally complete with its metal-based back-plate and has all its four prongs in place: its (typical) greenish-toned protective 'backing-cover' (as only seen on by 'F.Orth'-produced campaign-shields) is naturally also present and in place (as can be seen on the pictures). The shield - which is minimally converse-shaped as more often - truly retains all of its original, bright-golden-coloured- and/or somewhat 'glossy' finish ie. bronze-like appearance (truly all of its period-applied 'Brennlack' is still present!) and was never cleaned nor polished: it does show some minimal storage-age caused by decades of storage only (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive and desirable 'Heeres ie. Waffen-SS'-pattern example that was surely issued but simply never worn. It should be noted that these 'minty' examples by the Austrian maker (ie. 'Hersteller') 'Friedrich Orth' are quite hard to come by: it will be very hard to upgrade this attractive and fully untouched specimen!
