The neat - and most certainly very detailed! - WH (Heeres- ie. Waffen-SS) arm-badge retains both its original prongs and also retains its period, metal-based 'back-plate' in place as is more often encountered: it was never cleaned and truly retains most (ie. all!) of its somewhat shiny (ie. 'Brennlack'-like) surface (as can be seen on the pictures). As stated above, was this nicely pronounced badge presumably issued but never worn: it was period-mounted onto a (field-grey-coloured) piece of wool and retains truly all of its neat, bronze-golden-toned- (albeit minimally tarnished) finish. The piece shows, moreover, its nicely preserved, brownish-beige-coloured 'backing-paper' (something that is not always the case). Simply an attractive example of a WH (Heeres- ie. Waffen-SS) so-called: 'Kraftfahrbewährungs-Abzeichen in Bronze'!
