This is an attractive - just moderately used and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36-/M40'-pattern- and 'pointed styled-') shoulderstraps (being of the 'generic-pattern' having per regulation NO piping nor branchcolour) as was intended for usage - and just moderately worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Heeres' (ie. army sergeant-first-class) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which are 'regular-sized' and that measure approximately 10,5 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdecks'. They show the silverish-toned NCO-braid and show two pairs of (matching, larger-sized) pips period-attached: two of the four devices are executed in aluminium whereas the other two are executed in (somewhat tarnished) metal ie. 'Buntmetall': of additional interest is - I deem - the fact that these pips are period-stitched onto the straps (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues - show as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). This 'generic-pattern' shoulderstrap-pair originates from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, 'generic-pattern' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Heeres'!
