This is an attractive - fully matching and actually scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period, so-called: 'M36-/M40'-pattern- (rounded-styled) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'roter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiments 112' (or: sergeant first-class who served within the army mountain-troops-related, artillery-regiment numbered: '112') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which are approximately 11,2 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdecks'. The straps - which have the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached - show the (silverish-coloured) NCO-braid attached and do show two (matching) pairs of so-called: double '1'- and/or '2-'cyphers ie. numerals (or: 'Ziffern') and two (matching) pairs of pips period-attached: all ten devices are executed in (somewhat shiny) aluminium-based metal that is just minimally tarnished by age (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that this is a typical 'standard-issued'- ie, non-private-production-type pair. The neat straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues - show as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. This shoulderstrap-pair originated from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related, NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiments 112'!
