Single - and scarcely seen! - WH (Heeres) EM-type (ie. 'M40-/M43'-pattern) 'cyphered' shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Jäger-Bataillons 10'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) early- ie. mid-war-period, so-called: 'M40-/M43'-pattern, 'cyphered' enlisted mens'-type shoulderstrap having the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Soldat des Jäger-Bataillons 10' (or: simple soldier who served within the army mountain-troops ie. 'Jäger'-related battalion, numbered: '10') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 11 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or field-grey-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdeck'. The strap - which has the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached - show the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei') so-called: '1'- and/or '0'-cyphers ie. numerals (or: 'Ziffern'). Both 'cyphers' are executed in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured wool as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its functional tongue - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some staining, minimal moth-damage and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should, however, be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. This strap originates from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related EM-type 'Jäger'-shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Jäger-Bataillons 10'!
