Attractive - and scarcely encountered! - HJ- (Hitlerjugend-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate a specific HJ-related gathering ie. rally held in the town of Detmold on the 4/5-8-1935

This is a truly attractive - and actually truly scarcely encountered! - early-period, HJ/BDM- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'/'Bund Deutscher Mädel'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstalstungsabzeichen') that was specifically issued to commemorate a HJ-related gathering ie. rally held in the town of Detmold on the 4/5 of August 1935 being a neatly maker- (ie. 'Paulmann & Crone'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in typical, silverish-grey-toned metal (I deem so-called: 'Buntmetall'!) - truly shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished: it is just somewhat tarnished by age. The (tiny) piece (which is as stated above neatly maker-marked) depicts an upward-positioned sword-illustration (with 'HJ-Raute') with above that the (superimposed) towns-name, dates and wording: 'Meins Stärke Deutschlands Macht' and comes mounted onto its (of course still functional) pin-/catch set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very nice - and most certainly not that often encountered! - HJ/BDM- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'/'Bund Deutscher Mädel'-) related 'tinnie'. I deem that I have priced this attractive, 'Buntmetall'-based example according to its desirability and/or truly nicely preserved- and/or untouched condition!
