The neat - albeit clearly used- and/or worn - early-pattern, WH (Luftwaffe) 'standard-pattern', aluminium-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften der Luftwaffe') shows a 'down-tailed'-pattern eagle and is clearly used- and/or worn (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle - which itself is void of a makers'-designation as more often - was, however, never cleaned nor polished and came as recently found (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle shows, as stated above, obvious age, extensive wear and/or staining ie. dirt (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem that I have priced this truly used and worn, early-period- and typical 'down-tailed'-pattern WH (Luftwaffe) belt-buckle, accordingly!
