Superb - fully matching and scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. mid-war-) period- (ie. 'M41/M43'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Kav.- o. Aufklärungs-Schützen-Regiments 1'

This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually quite scarcely found! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) NCO- (ie. 'M41/M43'-pattern) shoulderstraps as piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for an NCO (ie. 'Feldwebel' or: sergeant) who served within the: 'Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Schützen-Regiments 1' (or: cavalry-related-, reconnaissance unit ie. regiment, numbered: '1') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The straps are just moderately used and/or worn and do show some minimal wear, age and/or staining but are void of any real damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured- and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length each. The pieces show the 'standard'-pattern (somewhat 'sub-dued') silverish- coloured, NCO-braid attached and come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows a neat set of (identical, Gothic-styled, larger-sized and/or: typical 'Feinzink'-based) so-called: 'S'-cyphers, (smaller-sized, identical and also 'Feinzink'-based) '1'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') and a pair of regular-sized pips period-attached denoting the NCOs rank of: 'Feldwebel' (or: sergeant). All six devices show some moderate age and wear but are very detailed and pronounced as to be expected. The pair is constructed from the typical field-grey-coloured wool and is with certainty a: 'standard-issued'- (ie. non-private-purchased!) pair. These type of shoulderstraps are of the typical mid-war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1941/1943 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). This particular pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered'-shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'cyphered', 'Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs'-related NCO-type 'Heeres' shoulderstrap-pair: I deem that I priced this attractive pair according to its nice and fully untouched condition!
