This is an attractive - and moderately used- and/or worn! - WH (Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungs-Verbände' (or: mine-sweeper war-badge) being a detailed- (and I deem mid- ie. later-war-period pattern- and/or non-maker-marked) example as was executed in multi-coloured zinc-based metal (ie.'Feinzink') and that was (presumably) produced by the: 'Adolf Scholze'-company and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately worn- ie. used-), condition. The award is a typical zink- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen as stated above that shows a (regrettably crossed-out) period-engraved name on its back (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge, which has truly great pronounced detail, comes naturally mounted on its functional (and/or vertically mounted, thin-shaped) pin-, catch and/or 'ball-shaped'-pin-attachment (as is 'standard' for this maker as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never cleaned nor polished but has lost (most) of its golden- and/or silver-coloured finish: this has just faded-away over the years (ie. has 'migriert'). The badge shows all the characteristics as found on a by the: 'Adolf Scholze'- (ie. 'AS'-) company produced awards: it just misses the producers'-logo (as is not unusual). Simply an attractive KM war-badge that comes in a clearly used condition and that is accordingly priced!
