The attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - lapel-pin (ie. 'Schiesswart-Abzeichen') is made out of nicely golden-toned- and IMO copper-based metal which is neatly enamelled in the typical green-colour: it comes mounted on its (functional- and unaltered-) pin-catch set-up as worn and/or issued. It only shows some minimal aging caused by regular usage and/or wear (but it is totally undamaged and retains a fully preserved, enamelled-surface, without showing any damage nor chipped-areas). The neat piece - that shows two (firmly affixed- and/or: golden-toned-) crossed rifles and star shows the organisations' abreviation: 'DSV' as to be expected and is - as stated above - a non-maker-marked example. A similar badge is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken' lapel-pin catalogue, wherein it is given a unique reference-number (8742E) and an estimated value of 120 Eu. Simply a neat - and not that often encountered! - DSV-related lapel-pin (ie. 'Schiesswart-Abzeichen') that is IMO accordingly priced!
