The very attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - shoulderstrap-pair is IMO of the mid-war-period pattern and does show only moderate age, wear and/or minimal staining. The pair has the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and does show the neat copper-brown- (ie. 'kupferbrauner'-) coloured branchcolour and desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (see pictures). The shoulderstraps - which are fully matching in all details - come mounted on their original tongues attached and were with certainty pieces that were used as a pair on a 'front-type'-tunic. The pair - which measures approximately 11,3 cms. in length - was used by a simple soldier who was attached to one of the: 'Kradschützenbtle. der Pz.Div. u. Inf.Div. (mot)' (or: tank- ie. infantry-related motor-cycle units). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that one of the straps has a (beige-coloued- and/or cord-based-) so-called: regimental-indicator (ie. 'Lasche') firmly attached (by means of period stitching) - see pictures. The rare pair originated from an older shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. As possibly known is this typical 'kupferbrauner'-branchcolour very rarely seen and can IMO be regarded as one of the most rarely encountered branchcolours within the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht': original enlisted-mens'-pairs are almost never offered for sale and are missing in most shoulderboard-collections. Simply, a superb pair of IMO mid-war period, EM-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat der Kradschützen-Battailone der Panzer- u. Infanterie-Divisionen (mot)': only the first such rare pair in this particular rank and/or branchcolour I ever had on offer!
