Superb - and actually scarcely encountered! - officers'-pattern-, 'RADwJ' sleeve badge ie. 'Abzeichen des Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend', as executed in neat 'flat-wire' BeVo-weave pattern

This is a very attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - officers'-pattern-, so-called: 'RADwJ' sleeve badge (ie. 'Abzeichen des Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend'), as was executed in neat so-called: 'flat-wire'-BeVo-weave pattern, in overall nice, albeit clearly used- and/or tunic-removed ie. worn, condition. The badge is neatly silver-coloured ie. executed in the neat 'flat-wire'-weave pattern and was intended for a female RADwJ-officer: it was clearly worn and shows some minimal staining and was neatly period-trimmed (ie. carefully once -pre-folded as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is the fact that this example shows the (Roman-styled-) numerals: 'XX' (signifying that it was an example that was worn by a member of the twentieth region/department ie. 'Bezirk'). The badge is not maker-marked (as is more commonly encountered: most of the copied examples show a full and interwoven logo). It should be noted that excellent copies of these badges do exist: this is naturally a genuine-, period example that originated from a German flea-market. Simply a very nice and truly scarcely encountered, officers'-type RADwJ arm-badge!
