Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of early-period- (ie. 'Reichswehr'-era), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps (as executed in the 'rib-cord'-like linnen) as was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier des Artillerie-Rgts. 6'

This is an attractive - fully matching and actually rarely encountered! - pair of (I deem) very early-period (ie. 'Reichswehr'-era), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps having the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or 'woolen'-type piping attached as was executed in neat field-grey-coloured- and/or: 'rib-cord'-like linnen as was specifically intended for - and with certainty used by! - an: 'Unteroffizier des Artillerie-Regiments 6' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the artillery-regiment numbered: '6') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which measure 11 cms. in length each - are fully 'text-book' in all facets and are executed in (typical 'Reichwehr'-era pattern) HBT-like (ie. 'rib-cord'-like-) linnen and having the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or 'woolen'-type piping attached. The straps come mounted on their functional tongues and have the more early- (ie. 'dotted') type, silver-coloured, Heeres NCO-braid attached (something that is more often encountered with these early-type straps): moreover, do they show the bright-red-coloured '6'-cyphers (ie. numerals or: 'Ziffern') which are executed in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). These type of (early) shoulderstraps are of the fairly early-war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1935/1937. The pair only shows moderate wear and/or age and is just nicely preserved over the years (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and with certainty quite rarely encountered! - 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier des Artillerie-Regiments 6' and that is accordingly priced!
