'Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges mit Schwertern des Sächsischen Militär Vereins Bund' (ie. 'S.M.V.B.') that comes together with its original ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt')
The attractive and bright-golden-toned medal - which is IMO executed in bronze-based metal - shows the shield of the Saschen-province on its front, shows a pair of seperately attached swords and has the abbreviation 'ESW' and/or date: '1914' on its back. These medals were institute in the twenties by the WWI-veteran-organisation: 'S.M.V.B.' and were issued at a limited scale from 1920 to 1922. The piece - which is never cleaned nor polished - comes together with its original, bluish-green-coloured and/or white-striped ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') which is 17 cms. long-sized and that shows some wear, age ie. staining.
