This is a truly very nice example of an - IMO 'Buntmetall'-based ie. originally golden-bronze coloured - so-called: 'Deutsch-Italienische Feldzugsmedaille' (or: German-Italian campaign medal) that comes still mounted on its (regular-sized- ie. 9 cms. long-) piece of original ribbon as issued and/or found, in overall very nice condition. The medal is stamped by the designer/cutter ('De Marohis') and is also neatly maker-marked ('Lorioli-Milano') as is always the case with these neat and desirable commemorative awards. The medal retains all of its truly golden-bronze coloured finish and has IMO never been cleaned nor polished: it is simply a tiny bit dirty and retains truly fantastic and/or pronounced detail. The piece comes - as stated above - mounted on its (regular-sized- and folded ie. confectioned-) piece of original ribbon (which is actually hard to find in itself). The ribbon shows some minimally faded colours. The medal originates from a German flea-market and was never before in a collection. Simply a very nice and naturally original example that I have priced according to its present and/or untouched condition!
