This is a nice - and actually fairly scarcely encountered! - silver-coloured and/or blank metal-based, so-called: 'RADwJ' (or womens’ labour service) service-badge (or: 'Dienstbrosche') as intended for a: 'Kameradschaftsälteste', in overall overall nice, albeit moderately used ie. worn, condition. The brooch - having a diameter of approximately 4 cms. - has pronounced detail and comes naturally mounted on its functional pin-back set-up (which might have been period-replaced ie. repaired). The badge has a truly nice, somewhat 'matted' age-patina and has IMO never been cleaned nor polished. The piece is void of any makers’-signification. This piece is also figured in the: 'Heering-Hüsken Abzeichenkatalog', wherein it is given a unique reference-number (ie. '3806C') and is given an estimated value of 90 Eu. Simply a nice and not that commonly encountered 'RADwJ Dienstbrosche' as intended for an: 'Kameradschaftsälteste': of course did I price this item according to its possibly replaced pin set-up!
