This is a very nice - albeit regrettably single! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) soldiers'- (ie. NCO-) type bright-green coloured, woolen-based and/or white-piped collar-tab, as intended for a soldier within one of the later-war period 'LW-Felddivisionen', in overall very nice, IMO slightly worn ie. issued, condition. The neat tab is executed in green (smooth- i.e. 'Moleskin'- like-) wool and shows a white-coloured (and/or rayon-based-) piping and was as such intended for a soldier (ie. NCO) belonging to one of the the late-war 'LW-Felddivisionen' (LW infantry units or ground-troops). The fact that the piping is executed in the white branchcolour denotes IMO that it was intended for - and was used by - a Lutwaffe soldier that served within one of the 'Hermann Göring'- (ie. 'HG'-) units ie. ground-troops. The patch has one zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based gull attached and shows the standard-type, brown-coloured/yellowish 'cheese-duck'-type backing as to be expected. The piece has IMO been used (ie. tunic-attached) and shows some minimal stitching-remains on the back. Simply a very nice and/or desirable LW 'Felddivisionen' ie. 'Hermann Göring'- (ie. 'HG'-) related collar-tab: too bad it is only a single piece!
