Nice - albeit regrettably single! - 'cyphered' (and IMO very late-war!) WH (Kriegsmarine) soldiers-type shoulderboard, as intended for a: 'Soldat eines Küsten-Artillerie-Regiments' - overall very nice condition!
This is a truly nice - albeit regrettably single! - 'cyphered' (and IMO very late-war ie. being of the simplified so-called: 'M44'-model!) WH (Kriegsmarine) soldiers'-type shoulderboard (as intended for usage on the field-grey coloured navy-style tunics), as intended for a: 'Soldat eines Küsten-Artillerie-Regiments' (or soldier within a coastal-artillery unit), in overall nice albeit IMO slightly used ie. worn condition. The board - which is fully 'text-book' in all facets and measures approximately 11 cms. in length (and has a width of 5,5 cms. as usual) has a field-grey-coloured, woolen based upper-deck and comes on its functional tongue. The board shows the neat interwoven 'winged shell'-cypher (executed in golden-yellow coloured linnen) denoting the rank of simple: 'Soldat'. The board - shows some minimal age and/or wear (some minimal moth-damage is present and visible). As stated is the board constructed in the very late-war production manner ie. is of the simplified so-called: 'M44'-model (something that is unusally encountered). It should be noted that ALL 'Küstenartillerie' insignia-pieces are actually hard to encounter: those 'cyphered' examples even more so, which grades them easily as 'scarce'. Simply a truly attractive 'cyphered' naval NCO'-type shoulderboard as intended for usage on the field-grey coloured attire!
