Waffen-SS 'Taschenkalender 1944'
This is a neat little item: a Waffen-SS so-called: \'Taschenkalender\' (pocket-diary) \'Der Soldatenfreund\' - 1944 issue. The diary - 12,5 x 8 cms. - is unissued and all pages are void of entries or notes. This one bears an interesting stamp on the first page: \'Überreicht von der .... für das Deutschtum im Ausland\', making this a \'promotional copy that was given to non-German nationals. Naturally all are pages (plus the often missing world-map!) present. These small diaries were much welcomed due to their additional contents (articles, pictures, vocabulary and coloured maps (24!) of all possible German insignia, ranks flag etc.!. As stated is this example in a very nice, IMO mint condition. A very nice and desirable SS item!
