WH (Heer/Waffen-SS) 'Krim' shield
This is a neat example of the WH (Heer and/or Waffen-SS) \'Krim\' campaign shield on field-grey woolen cloth that comes in its original carton pouch as issued. The shield and pouch (which is IMO 100x more rare than the shield itself!) are both produced by the \'Friedrich Orth\' company, based in Vienna/Austria. The shield has never been on a tunic and is naturally complete with its metal back-plate and 4 prongs and still has the protective (green) paper backing. The shield - which is nicely converse - is in stunning (IMO stone-mint) condition. The pouch is in fair and naturally complete condition. A very nice and desirable example that is simply impossible to upgrade!
