Armshield for a Lithuanian volunteer This is a nice, multi-coloured armshield for a Lithuanian volunteer (officers version?) having an attached copper-coloured knight (or \'Vytis\' in Lithuanian language). The shield is in clearly used and uniform-removed condition and originates from a collection of various insignia that was compiled in 1945 by a US interrogation officer. This piece - for which I could not find and exact reference - is most likely a locally produced version for officers (something that is likely due to the silver piping). The detail on the copper-coloured small-sized \'Vytis\' badge is very nice. A very nice and surely rare example of foreign volunteer related insignia that needs further investigation!
