Set of cyphered 'GD' shoulderboards
This is a nice and rare item: a fully matching pair of M36-type, green woolen shoulderboards having the white woolen \'GD\' cyphers as intended for a soldier of the famous \'GrossDeutschland\' regiment. The boards are in an overall nice, albeit used, condition and show some minor mothing. They are constructed of green \'felt-like\' wool and have the woolen-type piping. Both have a red coloured cotton stripe attached, intended to signify an \'Anwärter\' (\'Uffz?\') status. The boards originate from a German flea-market and were never before in a collection. A fantastic pair from a famous \'elite\' regiment!
