WH (Heer) officers' side-cap
This is a very nice example of a WH (Heer) officers\' side-cap, executed in high quality wool, having original applied BeVo (flatwire!) eagle and cornflower-blue coloured soutache (\'Nachschub\' or transport). The cap is in truly slightly used condition and does not show any mothing or other defaults. The cap is text-book in all facets: the nice \'flat-wire\' BeVo type eagle and (padded!) cocarde are period sewn (by hand) and surely have IMO always been on the cap. The grey coloured cotton lining is also textbook and the lining bears a - hard to read - stamp. The cap is sized 56 cms. (so it will easily fit a mannequin) and has a (bearers\') initial jotted-in: \'F\'. Both vent-holes and small leather \'sweatband\' are naturally also present. A very nice \'Heeres\' officers side-cap that is impossible to upgrade!
