This is an attractive example of a so-called: 'Gaumeisterabzeichen 1942 in Gold mit Eichenlaubkranz des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' being an example that was awarded for the K.K.-Gewehr (ie. 'Klein Kaliber-Gewehr'- or small caliber rifle) being a non-maker-marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The very detailed and fairly large-sized (and actually high-quality-produced!) badge (having an approximate diameter of 5.2 cms.) is executed in multi-coloured- and nicely enamelled, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based metal and is totally void of any damage nor heavy wear. It is void of any enamel-damage and retains a fully preserved (bright) golden-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge comes mounted onto its functional- (and fully unaltered!) pin- ie. pin-catch-set-up. A similar example is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given the unique reference-number: 'A61K' and wherein it is given an estimated value of 150 Eu. Simply an attractive shooting-award that is offered for an interesting price!
